The basis of my politics and the politics of Social Democrats is equality, social justice, human rights and rule of law. I’m fighting against discrimination in the society and defending everyone’s right to be themselves – without fear or harrassment. I’ll continue the same work I’ve done for over 10 years in top positions in Finnish politics.

In qualità di candidata al Parlamento europeo, nella Circoscrizione dell'Italia Centrale, mi impegno a sostenere con determinazione la promozione dei diritti e dell’uguaglianza delle persone lesbiche, gay, bisessuali, trans e intersessuali (LGBTI) nell’Unione europea.
Le misure e le politiche messe in atto in alcuni Paesi della stessa Unione, compresa l’Italia, preoccupano. Molto. Quindi dobbiamo mantenere alta la guardia e rilanciare un impegno democratico come quello promosso da #ComeOut4EU di ILGA-Europe.
