Anna Donáth

As an MEP of the Hungarian liberal party Momentum, I experience firsthand how LGBTI rights are constantly under attack by a populist government. I have protested and will continue to protest against every government action in Hungary that tries to further restrict the rights of the LGBTI community. Furthermore, I will stand up for gay marriage and gay adoption in Hungary, as I have in the past years. I will use all European means available for me as a member of the European Parliament to ensure that every government in the EU guarantees and protects LGBTI rights for their citizens.

Ramona Strugariu

I will continue to be involved in LGBTIQ intergroup, follow closely the legislation to be adopted by the EP and its impact on the rights of LGBTIQ people, monitor the situation in my country of election and raise awareness on the topic there.

Alfonso Maria Gallo

As a candidate for the European Parliament, I pledge to support LGBTI rights and equality. If elected, I will champion inclusive laws, address discrimination, and ensure LGBTI voices guide my efforts. I will enforce EU treaties, demand action against rights violations, and protect democratic institutions. I will secure sustainable EU funding for LGBTI organizations and advocate for the EU to lead in protecting LGBTI rights internationally. Together, we will build a more inclusive and just society!

I am one of the few mayors who have continued to transcribe the birth certificates of the children of homogenous couples despite the contrary indications of the Minister of the Interior and when other larger cities were stopping. Thanks to a transcription, two girls of non-EU birth became Italian and European citizens. However, a mayor is not enough to fight big battles, so I ran for these elections. Battles in favour of our community are and will always be
