As you mentioned I will advocate for EU policies and laws that pro- vide explicit protection on the grounds of sexual orien- tation, gender identity, gender expression, and sex cha- racteristics, and that provide concrete responses to the needs of LGBTI people in all their diversit

Work together bringing LGBTQIA+ rights in paper to the reality of those in the EU that still are not able to enjoy them. Namely, through empowering legally and financially the organizations in the frontline that work to give visibility and normalize gender and sexual diversity.

My priority is to ensure there is a next LGBTIQ+ Equality Strategy and make sure it’s duly implemented. I will integrate the LGBTI Intergroup and maintain a close dialogue with queer civil society. More generally, as a guiding principle, I will promote the defence of public services in all the appropriate legislative files. Figures show that the LGBTI community is disproportionately affected by the housing crisis and underfunded health systems.

I am fully committed to upholding the principles of the Come Out 4 Europe pledge and delivering on its commitments if elected to the European Parliament. I believe in the fundamental rights and equality of all individuals, including LGBTI people, and recognize the importance of addressing recent polarization and threats to their rights. If elected, I will actively work towards promoting LGBTI justice, equality, and democracy across the EU and beyond. This includes advocating for robust EU policies that defend the rights of LGBTI people both within the EU and globally.
