In the EU I will always speak out, work for and find coalitions for (e..g.): - The right for every LGBTQIA+ person to be themselves. - Human rights for LGBTQIA+ people and recognition and support for the different relationships people can be in. Including multi-parenting regonized by law. - Punishing states and other actors who discriminate against LGBTQIA+ people, - Reconizing and considering intersectional perspectives in European policies. Queer people of color now for example have to deal with extra discrimination and violence. - Basic income for everyone

I will promote equal rights for all EU citizens, including LGBTI+ peoples rights. To stimulate legislation which enables people to live without being discriminated or persecuted for who they are. To ensure people are allowed to marry who they wish and be enabled to adopt children.

As a Member of European Parliament I will always defend the rights of individuals. And I will certainly speak up against hate towards LGBTI.

Always speak up against hate against LGBTI and defend equal rights. Theirs no place for people who attack and make people insecure about themselfs just because who they are. In everyway lawmaking must be based on equal rights for everyone.

Keep fighting for the protection of Rule of Law, including equal rights and non-discrimination in Member States (especially Hungary/Slovakia) and candidate countries, but also worldwide. I actively support the recognition and equal treatment of same sex marriages/relationships; rights of transgender persons; protection of (freedom of expression of) LGBTQIA+persons; and actively combat anti-LGBTQIA+ legislation/policies; in the European asylum system, I fight for protective policies for LGBTQIA+asylum seekers: recognition of their flight reasons and safe reception centres.

Europe is a community of values, with a strong emphasis on human rights. These are non-negotiable. LGBT+ isn't an ideology, but says something about someones personal identity. I will give special attention to: - mutual recognition of (registered) partnershcps of all EU citizens and their children (rainbow families) in relation to the EU principle of free movement of persons; - the situation of LGBT+ with a religious background; - the rights and protection of LGBT+ refugees.

Human rights are human rights, for every human!

Human rights and equality are some of my key priorities, and the rights of LGBTI people are, unfortunately, under threat. Alongside the community, I want to advocate for a safe environment where everyone can be themselves not only in Europe, but also beyond.

Strengthening the power of the European Parliament and its position in the law-making process, for example by ensuring the right to legislagive initiative, is one of the best ways to ensure protection of LHTBIQ+ rights in the whole of the European Union.

As a transgender woman I am experiencing the increased attacks on our communities on a daily basis. I am deeply concerned about the role social media still play in the undermining of our European democracies and the constant attacks on vulnerable minorities in the EU.
As MEP I will fight online disinformation and the algorithms of social media that encourage controversy for more clicks and higher profits, because that is one of the most important catalysts of hate against our communities.

As elected members of the European Parliament we will have a duty to uphold human rights for everyone. This pledge is no exception. I will never back down when someone infringes on equal rights for everyone.

I will continue to defend fundamental LGBTI rights every day and side by side with the community. We cannot take anything for granted with far-right populists, autocrats and religious fanatics lobbying against hard-won rights. And since stagnation in this regard means decline we must give new impetus to promoting universal and horizontal guarantees of LGBTI rights in our member states, in the EU and beyond.
