Listening to LGBTI organisations - crucial in order to transform input into concrete eu initiatives- and being proacvtively engaged, for instance, being part of the LGBTI Intergroup in the EP, raising the voice and rights of LGBTI people.

If elected as a European Parliament member, I'll actively support LGBTI rights. I will work to propose laws safeguarding sexual orientation and gender identity, ensure accountability for violations, secure funding for LGBTI groups, and advocate for their rights in Europe and worldwide.

As a Member of the LGBTI Intergroup of the European Parliament, I will constantly put my efforts into ensuring that everyone in the European Union feels free and safe to be themselves.

Together with the political committee for gender policies and civil rights of the 5 star movement I am working on the political program of the European elections to continue fighting for a more just and inclusive Europe

I will pledge to ensure that my own political and personal life experience is a support and motivation for the LGBT community, because I believe that a public figure has the duty to manage his own visibility as an act of testimony for those who have no voice. I will continue to report the shortcomings and the deceptions often implemented by some political parties in order to weaken feelings of tolerance and openness. I’ll do everything in my power to ensure that there are synergies between minorities, because often the needs of some are fed against the needs of others by politicians.

Being loyal to the Movement 5 Stars’ program, promoting green politics and fighting any discrimination.

I’m signing ILGA-Europe’s pledge because Europe is still not doing enough to protect the human rights of LGBTQI+ people.

I think we need we need to be united. We need institutions – Parliament, Commission, Council, member states, local institutions – to fight together for respect, for dignity, for equal rights that are still not guaranteed in our Union.

We must fight together, we must be united for equality, and I think that signing the pledge is a way to start our campaign for a European Union that is able to protect human rights for LGBTQI+ people.
