Propose and advocate the protection of sexual orientation, gender and expression, and sex characteristics. Ensure that LGBTI+ rights are not used as scapegoats. Ensure the EU holds Member States accountable for violations of the human rights of LGBTI+ people – of which I form part of. Ensure that the LGBTI+ community is an important stakeholder in decision making in the EU.
