I have been working for human rights all my life. My first motivation was to advocate for the underprivileged, but soon after, I eagerly joined the feminist movement. Since the 90s, I have been promoting an improved attitude and legislation regarding the rights of sexual and gender minorities in Finland, both as a politician and a public figure. I have also worked tirelessly for a humane immigration policy. I am excited to continue this work with full dedication in the European Parliament. One of my three key campaign themes for the European elections is human rights.
