I commit to doing everything in my power to ensure that EU policies and laws provide explicit and tangible protection based on sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, and sex characteristics. One concrete example of this protection could be combating employment discrimination by ensuring that companies respect the rights of LGBTI individuals to work in a safe and inclusive environment, without fear of being dismissed or discriminated against because of their orientation or identity.
